Hello! I'm Kevin, and I'm from Long Island, New York! I'm a sophomore majoring in Financial Economics and Cinematic Arts at Duke University, but am currently doing an exchange semester at the University of California School of Cinematic Arts.
I've always been interested in film and photography since high school, but never had quite enough time practice and improve. I originally picked up a camera just to capture pictures of my friends and family.
To me, capturing moments of people that I cared about was my love language. Over time, that turned into something more intentional. Now, I approach photography as a way to tell stories, invoke a feeling, and to appreciate the world around me.
I'm also passionate about film. I believe everyone share more things in common than what meets the eye, and I that independent films in particular are beautiful ways to immerse people into the unique world of stories, cinematography, and emotion.
I try to draw from my interests in landscape photography, traveling, colorgrading, and music when I upload videos on my Instagram (@kevvy_films), and genuinely enjoying editing videos in my free time. I am also learning sound design for a USC thesis film, and love doing all things postproduction.
